Founding Home Star has been an incredible ride. After almost 20 years in the print industry, with a degree in Computer Science and a passion for business, I wanted to branch out and build something of my own. Moving from marketing into the construction trades has been a huge learning experience, and I’ve loved the chance to connect with so many interesting people along the way. We’re always pushing ourselves to grow, stay educated, and keep delivering the same consistent service our customers know us for. I’ve been in the construction trades for most of my career…working pipelines, driving trucks, and helping keep the infrastructure of our state and nation running. In 2022, I joined Home Star as co-owner, and it’s given me the chance to stay closer to home while watching my kids grow up. I love being there as they learn hockey and other sports, and I’m grateful this work allows me that balance. Since joining, I’ve learned a lot and watched Home Star expand from roofing into large commercial builds and ground-up projects. Our goal is always the same: to grow, to build, and to help the people we meet along the way.
